The site was used as the Group’s headquarters in the early days and has now evolved into a prominent landmark at the city fringe. UE Square was marked a historic site by the National Heritage Board in 2002 in view of UEL’s key role in the early development of Singapore, and is also a Green Mark Gold-certified building.
